The inspiration for my art comes from daily life. My personal and poetic approach to reality draws attention to the simplicity and beauty of our environment. Over the last few years, inspired by snowy winters in rural Upstate New York and their unique landscapes, I have developed a new series of mixed-media works based on resin art. These pieces not only recreate aspects of the surrounding scenery but also prompt me to reflect on global concerns such as environmental fragility, social tension, migration, and the passage of time. My views and sensibilities range from the beauty of nature to broader observations on life, moving from introspection to subtle suggestions about our shared challenges. In a fast-paced contemporary world, my art seeks to connect beauty, significance, texture, light, and thought.
